Operation Immunization

As a member of the American Pharmacist Association I am apart of the Operation Immunization Committee.  This program is an immunization education campaign designed to increase the public's knowledge of immunizations while raising the number of adults receiving immunizations. Today the Univeristy hosted a Flu and Immunization Catch Up Clinic.  Pharmacists from Acme Pharmacy came and administered Flu, Chicken Pox, Meningitis and Tdap Vaccines.  As a student on the Operation Immunization Committee we had the opportunity to voluteer and help out.  I thought this was a great chance for students to catch up on any essential vaccines while staying right on campus!
