Philadelphia Inquirer: A coach’s bond carried Upper Merion basketball players through a fatal crash and grueling recovery — and back onto the court

The Philadelphia Inquirer published a story about the impact Leah Shumoski PharmD'07 had on the recovery of three Upper Merion High School basketball players who were involved in a serious car wreck last summer. Shumoski has coached the girls' basketball team for the last three years in addition to her job as a hospital pharmacist and was considering taking a break from coaching until the crash.
