About Dr. Sheaffer

Dr. Sheaffer’s practice and teaching interests include medication safety, emergency preparedness, pandemic flu challenges and treatment, hospital pharmacy practice and medication use systems including automation, information systems, and pharmacy and therapeutics committees and formulary processes. He has lectured on emergency preparedness, professionalism, and leadership and management, including the impact of professional, accrediting and credentialing organizations for individual practitioners and the profession.

Dr. Sheaffer graduated from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science with his BS in 1975 and his PharmD in 1978.
