About Dr. Robson

Dr. Robson’s areas of focus include the history of Russia/USSR, religion and society in Russia, religious and scientific cosmology, and comparative world religions. He is the author of three books and many articles. In addition, he is series editor in Orthodox Christianity for Northern Illinois University Press and writes world religion textbooks for Pearson/Prentice Hall Publishing. He has lectured across the USA, Russia, the former USSR, Lithuania, Great Britain, Poland, and Finland. Recently, he has begun to study the noted Russian iconographer Pimen Sofronov.

Dr. Robson received his PhD in history at Boston College, his MA in history at the University of Pittsburgh, and his BA in English/History at Allegheny College.
