About Ms. Richards

Karin Richards has more than 14 years of professional experience in corporate, university, and community-based fitness and wellness. She is nationally certified by the National Strength & Conditiong Association (NSCA), American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the American Council on Exercise (ACE) as a Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor. She is also a certified Reiki Practitioner, Wellness Practitioner (CWP), Wellness Program Coordinator (CWPC), American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor, American Lung Association Freedom from Smoking Facilitator, National Association of Safety Professionals (NASP) Ergonomics Technician, and a YogaFit certified Instructor. Her current research interests lie in holistic wellness, positive psychology, and obesity.

She currently trains clients and teaches group exercise classes in various locations in Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. Richards obtained an MS in sport management from Slippery Rock University and is currently pursuing her doctorate in health policy.
