About Dr. Ideishi

Dr. Ideishi’s research interests include child health services and community engagement for health. He has directed several community-based, grant-funded service learning projects, focusing on the development of play skills and child health.

Dr.Ideishi, a Fellow of the American Occupational Therapy Association, received the William F. Homiller Award for Excellence in Teaching and several faculty recognition awards from USciences. 

Dr.Ideishi received his BS in occupational therapy from the University of Washington and a JD in law from Temple University.
