About Dr. Campolo

Dr. Campolo is a board certified specialist as a sports physical therapist, as an athletic trainer, and as a certified strength and conditioning specialist. He is a certified clinical instructor by both the American Physical Therapy Association and the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. Additionally, Dr. Campolo is a certified exercise test technologist by the American College of Sports Medicine and a certified fitness specialist by the YMCA. 

Dr. Campolo’s practice and research interests include the relationship between remediation and success for second time pass rate on the National Physical Therapy Examination, a comparison of quadriceps muscle activity during open kinetic chain vs. closed kinetic chain exercises, post ACL reconstruction rehabilitation, and the use of Kensio Tape as an intervention method.

He received his PhD in philosophy in health science from Seton Hall University, his MA in exercise physiology from Adelphi University, and his BS in physical therapy from Hunter College.
