USciences Congratulates the Class of 2014


The countless hours writing papers, conducting research, and collaborating with peers came to an end for hundreds of University of the Sciences students, whose academic accomplishments were the focus of the 193rd commencement ceremony on Wednesday, May 21, 2014. The newest alumni now embark on exciting careers in the health and science fields. More than 400 degrees were conferred, including an honorary doctor of science degree to alumnus LAWRENCE LIBERTI P’76, MS’78, whose leadership roles in advancing health technology have allowed for improved regulations in aspects of medicinal development.

This year also marked the third bachelor’s degree conferment ceremony for students in the master and doctor of occupational therapy, doctor of physical therapy, and doctor of pharmacy programs. The ceremony on Friday, May 16, recognized those students who will continue in the professional phases of their programs. The featured speaker was WILLIAM ELLIS, JR., P’85, MS, executive director of the Board of Pharmacy Specialties.
