Donor Awareness Day

By Bruce Watson

“Thank you for your support. It really makes a difference in my college experience.”

There’s nothing better than a thank-you note to show appreciation. USciences students had the chance to personally thank the many alumni donors who contribute to USciences at a Donor Awareness Day held on April 19, 2014. The event was also an opportunity to raise student awareness of the importance of alumni contributions to the University. Students wrote personal messages of thanks to alumni on a postcard that was then mailed. “Donor Awareness Day was so great because it established a connection between current students and alumni who were, at one time, in our positions. It allowed us to say ‘thank you’ in a meaningful way,” said MAGGIE HANNA DPT’18. RACHEL BOULOS DrOT’19 added, it was “a day that is undoubtedly one of the most vital to USciences. Donor Awareness Day successfully raised awareness to the whole campus community.”
