Philly Flavor at USciences!

It's that time of the year again for high school seniors! Anxiety levels are high as seniors await letters from colleges to hear whether they were accepted or not. I have to admit, I remember that time of angst and am glad that it is over with! Finally receiving my acceptance letter from USciences put all of my worries to rest. I knew that I wanted to attend USciences, so going through the school pamphlets and information contained in the acceptance letter made me so excited to get to college.

After I was accepted, my parents called immediately to seal my spot for Accepted Students' Day. I remember that morning of ASD, being so nervous about meeting new people and making another step towards my future. When I arrived, the faculty, advisers, and other students were very nice and welcoming. We sat through presentations about the campus, student life, financial aid, and also took a campus tour.

As a member of USciences Student Ambassador Organization, I am proud to say that it is our job to welcome you to USciences in the best way possible. After every open house or Accepted Students Day, we all talk about how we can better your experiences as incoming students. This year, we changed up the tour routes and added a little "Philly Flavor" to the mix. Since Philadelphia is known for its mouth watering cheesesteaks, TastyKakes for the sweet seekers, and amazing soft pretzels, we decided to let you all in on our treats. During the campus tours, there are food stations that offer these Philly favorites at different buildings. Our thought process behind this is that we are so proud of what Philly has to offer that we should share it with you!

So, if you're coming to an Accepted Student Day event or Open House this Spring, come with an appetite- because we will be sure to satisfy your taste buds!
