Cooper Medical School of Rowan University received 500 applications for the seven full-time faculty positions it is in the process of filing. The faculty will also be augmented by scientists and professors from the Coriell Institute for Medical Research in Camden and the University of the Sciences, through its Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, in Philadelphia.
Earlier this month Cooper Medical School and Cooper Health System, both in Camden, and the University of the Sciences signed a formal agreement to work together in areas including education, training and research.
