Metro: Local occupational therapist lends a hand to Korean colleagues

"People hear the word 'occupational' and think it just refers to your job," says Hanna Hyon, who just received a master's in occupational therapy from Samson College of Health Sciences at the University of the Sciences. "But actually, it's all your activities -- all the ways you occupy your time." This includes
job-related activities, but also cooking and cleaning. It also means hobbies, sports and games.

A Mix of Science Popularization and Experimental Beer: The Inquirer's Faye Flam would give University of the Sciences chemistry professor Fred Schaefer an A+ in science explanation. He not only enjoys teaching students, he volunteers a serious chunk of his time to demonstrate chemistry to kids of all ages. The demos happen every month at a restaurant/brewery in Germantown with the memorable name Earth, Bread and Brewery.

Student Doctor Network: 20 Questions: Oleg Zvenigorodsky, PharmD

Oleg Zvenigorodsky graduated cum laude from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and completed a post-doctoral drug safety fellowship at Johnson & Johnson, after which he was hired by the company to work in their Global Medical Safety department.
