Timothy Bowers BS’02, MHP ‘08, remembers when he learned he would become a W. W. Smith Scholar.
When he got the news, the medical technology major was preparing for his senior year, which would take the form of a clerkship in Jacksonville, Fla. “Getting that scholarship helped me focus full-time on the clerkship, not financial aid,” Bowers recalled. “It came at a critical time.”
